DBCCI met the newly elected Honorable President of Bangladesh, HE Mr. Md. Shahabuddin on Monday, 6 March 2023

On behalf of Dutch Bangla Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DBCCI) and Latin America-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LABCCI) the chamber president Mr. Md. Anwar Shawkat Afser along with the delegates met with the newly elected Honorable President of Bangldaesh, H.E. Mr. Md. Shahabuddin today.

DBCCI and LABCCI jointly with Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) are going to organize a “Bangladesh Investment B2B (Business to Business) Event in BENELUX & Latin America-2023” during 6-17 May 2023. The delegation will be held in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg in the BENELUX region in 6-12 May 2023 and Argentina and Brazil from Latin America region during 12-17 May 2023. Mr. Salman Fazlur Rahman, MP, Advisor to Prime Minister, Private Industry and Investment, Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) will lead the delegation. Representative from PMO, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, BIDA, BEZA & Hi-Tech Park Authority.

The chamber president Mr. Afser along with the Standing Committee Chairman of the chamber shared the potential market in Europe and Latin America and expect to attract foreign direct investment from the targeted countries. The board of Directors and officials from the chamber were present in the event.
